Day 7 | January 11, 2026 | Trusting God

Read: Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Reflect: Formation requires trust. There will be seasons when God’s work in us is quiet and unseen, but that does not mean He is absent. Trusting God means leaning on Him even when the path ahead is unclear. It is choosing to believe that He is good and that His plans are for our good. As you reflect today, place the areas of your life where trust feels difficult into His hands and allow Him to guide you forward, one step at a time.

Pray: Father, I trust Your plan for my life. Help me lean not on my own understanding but on You. Make my paths straight and guide me as You form me into the likeness of Christ.

  • Pray for deeper trust in God’s plans and timing.

  • Ask God to help you release anxiety and uncertainty.

  • Pray for faith when the path ahead feels unclear.

  • Ask God to strengthen your dependence on Him.

  • Pray for peace as you lean into God’s guidance.

  • Pray that fear would be replaced with confidence in God.
