Day 2 | January 7, 2025 | The Invitation to Go

Scripture: Matthew 28:18-20 – “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”

Reflection: Jesus used His authority in His departing words before His ascension into heaven to commission His followers to make disciples of all nations. He commissioned His followers with an invitation to go and invite the lost to come to Him to receive salvation, forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. We are all invited to be part of this mission, sharing the good news wherever we go. This is known as the great commission, the assignment or invitation that every believer is called to accept.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for sending us with Your invitation to the world. Help me to boldly go where You lead, sharing Your love with those around me and serve my part in the great commission. In Jesus Name, Amen.
