Day 14 | January 19

Day 14 | January 19, 2025 | The Invitation to Grace and Mercy

Scripture: Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God…”

Reflection: The invitation to salvation is an invitation to receive His grace. Grace is not something we earn, deserve or based on works, but a free gift from God. As we extend this invitation to others, we are offering them the gift of God’s grace which is His enabling power by which we are saved. It is not based on what we have done but what He has done for us as our Lord and Savior and redeemer.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the gift of grace. Help me to share this gift with others, inviting them into the abundant life You have for them. Amen.

Prayer Points:

  • Pray for a deeper understanding and revelation of grace.

  • Pray for boldness in extending the gift of grace to others.

  • Ask God to help you approach others with humility as you extend grace.

  • Pray for the Healing Power of Grace in Others’ Lives. That people will be set free from guilt and shame.

  • Pray for the Overflowing of Grace in all areas of Your Life.

  • Pray for Others to Understand God’s Mercy, that God would remove any barriers or misunderstandings about His grace and help them accept the gift.

  • Pray that Refuge would be a reflection of God’s grace and mercy, that people can experience forgiveness and healing here.

  • Pray for grace in difficult circumstances and situations, even showing grace to those who may not deserve it.

  • Pray for a Heart to Invite Others into Grace, not just through words, but through action.

  • Pray for Abundant Life Through Grace, that God would transform lives as they come to understand and live in the fullness of His mercy and grace.
