Day 16 | January 21, 2025 | The Invitation To Belong

Scriptures: Romans 15:7 – “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.”

Reflection: Jesus welcomed us into His family, and now we are called to extend that same invitation to others. Everyone is invited to belong in God’s family.

Prayer: Father, help me to be a welcoming presence to those around me, inviting them to belong in Your family. May my actions reflect Your love and acceptance. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayer Points:

• Ask God to give you a heart that is open and welcoming to others, just as Christ has welcomed you.

• Pray for unity in the Body of Christ, that the church would be a place where all people can find their place of belonging in a right relationship with Jesus.

• Pray for the courage to include others, even those who may feel isolated or overlooked.

• Pray for opportunities and divine encounters to invite others to belong and make others feel WELCOME.

• Pray for healing for those who feel isolated or rejected.

• Pray that you would embody a spirit of grace and acceptance in all your interactions.

• Pray that Refuge would be a place that reflects God’s heart of belonging, where people of all walks of life feel welcomed and valued.

• Pray for any barriers—such as prejudice, judgment, or misunderstanding—that might prevent others from feeling like they belong in God’s family.

• Pray for personal growth in welcoming others.
