Day 4 | January 8, 2026 | Obedience
Read: John 14:23 ESV “Jesus answered him, ‘If anyone loves me, he will keep my word.’”
Reflect: Formation grows through obedience. Jesus reminds us that love for Him is shown in how we live. Obedience doesn’tmean perfection, but it’s a willing heart that says yes to God day by day. Often, it is the small, unseen choices that shape us the most. As we learn to follow His Word, even when it feels uncomfortable or inconvenient, God uses those moments to form our character and deepen our trust in Him. Today, ask the Lord to help you not only hear His voice, but to respond with a life that reflects your love for Him.
Pray: Lord, teach me to obey Your Word and follow Your ways today. Help me not just to hear Your commands, but to act on them with faith and love. Shape me into someone who lives Your truth daily.
