This trip offers a variety of ministry opportunities—from engaging with children and youth to participating in hands-on work projects and distributing water filters. Ministry Partner: Good News Africa

On this trip, we have the opportunity to partner with Good News Africa, a ministry founded by Pastor Matt in 2000. As an extension of Refuge, Good News Africa is devoted to empowering believers across the continent through biblical training and discipleship. Together, we’ll serve alongside local churches and Bible colleges, spreading the love of Christ through impactful teaching, encouragement, and hands-on service. This is an incredible opportunity to make an impact, deepen your faith, and create lasting connections with the people of Ghana!
Refuge partners with Samaritan’s Purse to respond to disaster relief and rebuilding projects when emergencies arise, such as Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. While we can't predict the timing of these trips, we are dedicated to being ready to serve as soon as we are needed. Typically, we receive at least three weeks to a month’s notice before a relief trip, allowing us time to prepare and mobilize. If you’re interested in being on the contact list for a future disaster relief trip, please provide your information below, and we’ll reach out when an opportunity arises to serve and make an impact in the lives of those affected by a disaster.
