Refuge Tech embraces digital progress and leverages technology to honor God and execute the vision of Refuge. Using elements including lights, audio, visual production, videography, and photography at our gatherings, we help create environments and shape experiences where people feel free to focus on Jesus and inspired to worship. If you enjoy working with computers or have a giddy obsession with pressing buttons, then you belong serving with Refuge Tech!

Overview of Areas:

Lights - The lighting position programs and operates the lighting in our auditorium to create our service environments. (Arrive at 8am Sunday mornings)

Sound/Audio - The sound position mixes audio for special events and Sunday services in our auditorium as well as for our musicians’ monitors. (Attend Sunday 7:30am rehearsal)

Visual Production - The visual production position controls what is projected on the screens in the auditorium. This position is responsible for inputting lyrics, sermon notes, and event graphics into ProPresenter as well as making sure the correct slides are shown during the service. (Attend Sunday 8am rehearsal)

Photography - We provide the camera equipment, and the photographer captures moments at special events and Sunday services. If you feel more comfortable using your own camera that's fine too! (Arrive at 9:15am Sunday mornings)

Video/Camera Operator - The camera operator is responsible for filming the service. We have a stationary camera located in the back of the auditorium. (Arrive at 9:15am Sunday mornings)

Live Stream - Each Sunday we broadcast an online livestream of the 10am service. Our goal is to provide an excellent view of what is going on in our building, so those not able to attend can worship together with us. The Live Stream operator is the director of the broadcast and they import verses in ProPresenter, communicate with the cameras, and choose which view will be visible on the livestream. (Arrive at 9:15am Sunday mornings)
