How often do we get in trouble because of something we have said? The words we speak are literally a matter of life and death, yet many are simply not aware of the power and potential of the tongue.

We must consider what effect our words are having upon our life and those around us. Knowing the truth of God’s Word is critical to protect ourselves against negative and abusive speech. Negative words have the potential to cause great harm if we don’t respond to them with the truth of God’s Word.

The words of our mouth are simply a reflection of what’s in our heart. The mind has a lot to do with choosing words, but how we use words is usually a reflection of what’s going on in our heart. In today’s message we will explore the importance of the words we speak.
