Dynamics of Revival

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” Matthew 5:6 ESV 

Dynamics defined is the forces or properties that stimulate growth, development, or change within a system or process. There are three essential dynamics for revival. First, the dynamic of Spiritual Hunger. Spiritual hunger is necessary to fill our deep longing to connect with God. Secondly, the dynamic of a sincere intention to change. We have to be dissatisfied with our present condition to want to change. Thirdly, the dynamic of the presence of God. It’s His presence that becomes the environment of change. 

These three dynamics are common in all moves of the Spirit; spiritual hunger that moves us to pray, a sincere intention to change that leads to repentance and the presence of God that brings transformation.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Lord, we earnestly desire to experience revival that is birthed out of a sincere hunger and thirst for righteousness. Thank you for giving us spiritual hunger, an intention to change and your presence that brings transformation.
