Our Source of Help

“My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:2 ESV

“My help comes from the Lord,” make this your confession today. Recognizing and acknowledging the Lord as your source of help is critical when facing a difficult situation. Certainly if God made heaven and earth He can help you through any situation you may face.

We often gravitate to what we trust in the most when facing a crisis. Some trust in their own judgment or the judgment of others, but we must trust in the Lord, even though God may work through others to bring the answer. Some turn to God as a last resort when they run out of options. When we think about the feat of creating heaven and earth doesn’t it seem rational that God is more than able and capable of helping us in time of need? “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 ESV.

 TODAY’S PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we give you thanks and praise for being our source of help. We recognize that our help comes from you. We put our trust in you and acknowledge you as our source of help in time of need. We gladly accept the invitation to approach the throne of Grace.

God Bless,

Pastor Matt
