The Promise Of Protection

“The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. 8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” Psalms 121:7-8 ESV 

What an incredible promise of preservation from evil. This promise includes travel protection whether we are coming or going. There is always an increased level of possible danger faced during times of travel. Yet whether we are traveling or at home God assures those who serve Him with this promise. 

God has given us the ultimate promise of divine protection proclaimed in scripture. If we believe his promise we need to receive his promise of protection for our life and embrace it as truth. Receiving and believing God’s Word is what activates it in our life. When we receive God's Word it will accomplish what He has intended for it to do in us and for us and through us. “And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.” 1 Thessalonians 3:13 ESV.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank you for your promise of divine protection from all evil, whether it is perceived or actual. Thank you that our confidence continues to grow as we receive your Word because our faith is in you, in Jesus Name.
