Mountain Moving Faith

“Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.” Mark 11:23 ESV. 

‘This mountain’ represents the opposition or impossibility we are facing that is standing in the way. It could be anything that would stop, hinder or limit our progress in our journey. Jesus instructed us to speak to the mountain in faith and declared that it would move. We are to speak words of faith to the circumstances and situations we’re facing that are contrary to God’s purpose for our lives. Refuse to speak words of fear and unbelief, rather speak in faith believing that the mountain will move. Our faith is released in the words we speak.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Lord Jesus, thank you for making known to us that we can speak to the mountain of adversity and opposition that we face in this life. Help us to take to heart and respond to your Word and speak to the mountain.
