Anxiety: Part 4

"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34 ESV 

WHAT ABOUT TOMORROW? The uncertainty of tomorrow is what fuels anxiety in our life today. This is where trusting God comes into the picture. We can trust the uncertainty of our future to a faithful God who has a proven track record. Trusting God is a choice and decision that only you can make for yourself, no one can force you, yet circumstances often leave us with no other option. So trust God this very moment, cast your every care upon Him, because He absolutely cares for you. “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, 7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7 ESV.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Thank you Father that no matter what trouble the day may bring, we don’t have to be anxious about it because we are trusting you. Although there may be opportunities to be anxious we can pass them by because we are casting all our anxieties on you knowing that you care for us.
