God's Plan

“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” Proverbs 19:21 ESV

 A man may have many plans, but plans mean nothing without purpose. We may have many plans but which one will stand? Plans are made with ideas to accomplish an objective or a goal. Often we make plans without considering God’s purpose for our life.

God is ready and willing to reveal His purpose for us; we can either accept it or reject it. Understanding our purpose is a key to fulfillment in life. Our purpose is not our decision, it’s our discovery. Purpose determines future expectation. We will never be fulfilled until we understand our God given purpose in life. We are called on purpose and for a purpose. “Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, 2 Timothy 1:9 (ESV)

TODAY’S PRAYER 

Lord, we ask for greater understanding of your plan and purpose for our lives. Even if we fall, fail or mess up we are determined to get back up and continue to serve your purpose for our lives. Thank you for the strength to overcome whatever obstacle would stand in the way of your purpose.
