The Greatness Of God

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.” Psalms 145:3 ESV

Life’s pressures are all around us, yet we should always take time to acknowledge the greatness and the goodness of God. Searching God’s greatness is not impossible, it is only unsearchable from the standpoint that we will never fully come to know His greatness while living upon the earth. Eternity will lift the veil and open our understanding to much more then we presently comprehend. We can know God now, but to know Him fully requires an eternity. It will take eternity to discover His unsearchable greatness, which we have only begun to discover.

As you live this day learn something new about His greatness. Acknowledge the greatness and goodness of God regardless what you are facing and dealing with. There is help for the helpless and hope for the hopeless, strength for the weak and wisdom for the strong. Commit this day to Him, that it may bear fruit to advance His purpose and plan for your life. 

The greatness of our God cannot be ignored. Greatness is to be remarkable or outstanding in magnitude, degree, or extent. It is to be of outstanding significance or importance, chief or principal, superior in quality or character; noble, powerful, influential, eminent and distinguished. He fits this description well.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Heavenly Father, expand our understanding to better comprehend and acknowledge your greatness. Help us make your greatness known to others through our speech and through our actions.
